Getting To Know You
Before your photoshoot, we’ll start a conversation to get on the same page with your style and preferences. There's a questionnaire to help identify what makes you feel most comfortable and empowered. This provides a good starting point that we can refine together.
chairs and Backdrops
Instead of a one-size-fits-all setup, you get to choose your colors and textures that will work best for your style and aesthetic. The studio has over a dozen different backdrops and about 20 different seating options to choose from. We can also customize the colors of the set to match your vision.
Visual Inspiration
For inspiration, I love to see what speaks to you. I always encourage you to share references of photos you love - whether they are past shots of yourself or a Pinterest board of poses and lighting. The more references you provide, the better I can align the lighting, posing, and vibe to your specific preferences.
Creating Your Comfort Zone
To help you have the best experience, I want you to feel entirely at home in the studio. You are welcome to bring extra people to help with hair, makeup, or just to provide emotional support. If you’re bringing more than two guests, please let me know so I can ensure everyone has a comfortable seat.
Space & Privacy
The studio has a private changing area for hair, makeup, and wardrobe right next to the studio, as well as a large bathroom for your convenience. If you're unsure about having your face in boudoir pics, there is a selection of masquerade-style masks available to wear. Alternatively, we can use creative lighting and framing to ensure your photos never show your full face; whatever is best for you.
Your Photoshoot
If you haven't done photoshoots before, there's usually a bit of a warmup period when we're starting out to help you relax and get comfortable. We have a multi-zone speaker system ready to go - so bring your favorite playlists and we’ll get the vibe and energy exactly where you want it. We start with the poses and references you provided ahead of time. This ensures we head in the right direction immediately, building your confidence as we go. From there, we'll work with any extra ideas, as time allows.
DELIVERY
While not every single shutter click is going to make the cut, I deliver every selected shot that you like. If you select 50 or 100 images as winners throughout our session, you'll get all of them. No crazy upsells, arbitrary limits, or hidden costs. For image retouching, most people stick with the beauty of the raw session, so that kind of editing service is kept as a separate option. There's no obligation to have any editing done. If you’d like specific images polished or touched up, that is always available to you for a straightforward, per-image fee. You only pay for the edits you want.
